How much paint should it take to cover a blazer, and I'm not out to do a show truck just want a different color.

Thanx for the rattle can info Rene. I am getting SOOOO close to spray bombing mine. I just dont feel like doing the body work and really having to paint it. Theres just something about having to assemble scaffold to paint it that doesnt appeal to me. /forums/images/icons/tongue.gif

Also does anyone besides me think it would look cool and be a good ideal to do like the bottom 12" of the body with the spray on bed liner to help combat the typical rust and and fight off mother nature?

Hey corey dont knock the spray cans ...
If I had done the prep and the same color primer on my fender and door then the sprays that are thinking they are the factory colors are not that bad at all...I tried the gm blue metel flake but I wont paint it that dark of a color because the "branch scars" show up way to much maybe not that bad if I would have put on the sealer ..But I was just looking for a color to paint it and that wasn't the one....mike

Rattle can looks good if you do it right Corey! And the fumes are an added bonus... why we did mine in the street. Kinda sucked it rained twice while doing it! But we had fun and I think it looks cool! Don't knock until ya tried it and it's cheap to do! /forums/images/icons/grin.gif

Just go to GI Joes... where I got mine. Funny I painted mine in Canby! My friends used to live by where that new Fred Meyers is, their house backed up to the fair grounds... I stopped there on my way home from Idaho and was bored so I went camo! /forums/images/icons/smile.gif

LOL...my backdoor faces the carnival area. I'm thinking of going camo also just for something different. Need to get body work done first though. Blue/Gray/White...what do you think?
