I personally am not, but one of my roommates is kinda. He only smokes the nicer stuff. He bought a Cohiba the other day. He was outside the US and smoked the true Cuban's.

He has told me that when you buy a Cohiba here in the US you have a 35% chance that it is actually a Cuban.

I had the chance to smoke some Cuban's a couple years back in Australia, but I passed. I am not a smoker at all.

What is the diameter on one of those? As some of you may know, us beavers can really appreciate a nice, fat cigar

I don't understand, that Cohiba looks delicious! Beavers like the big ones like that. I apologize if you think that I am "hijacking", I was just being neighborly.

Im a fan of cheap cigars. really... Ive smoked some spendy ones, including a couple of cubans, and I still like lil swishers the best. <shrug> I dunno, I like cheap pizza (you know, 3.99 for a thin crust pepperoni style) too... wonder if there is some kinda connection here...

I personally like black & milds. Cubans just seem too expensive for only lasting a little while. But occasionally, a nice phat cigar is nice.

Man, I love cigars. A good friend of mine and I used to go make cigar runs to this place and then sit and drink and smoke good cigats. Man, I miss those times .... /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I just returned from overseas and let me tell you, paying 10 dollars for a good Monte Cristo sure was nice.

La Gloria Cubano Maduro is my vice! /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif
A week and a half ago (KY Derby week) the Macanudo Bus was
parked at my regular cigar shop. It's basicly a Greyhound size
cusomized party bus. Very nice! /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif

La Gloria is my first choice too, A friend gave me this Cuban Cohiba Esplendido, $650 for a box of 25 is a bit pricey for me /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gifbut if he's buying I'll smoke em /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

<font color="green"> I still have a stash of misc Cubans from the last time I was in the Caribbean. I love cigars, but I slowed down when my tastes got too expensive for my wallet to handle. /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif </font>

Cohiba Esplendido's are a little pricey. I can spend $6 to $8 on a La Gloria and it'll
smoke just fine for me. /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif I'll take a Dominican leaf from Cuban seed any day
over a Cuban. I just think Cubans are over rated and the quality isn't very good.
I've had Cubans that were smuggled in and I wasn't that impressed. /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif Kinda like
the first Coors I ever had back when they weren't available here in KY. As a matter
of fact - I have a Cuban in my humidor right now - it's been there since last fall. I
can't even remember what it is! /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif
