I am sick of the 3 on the Tree tranny level. how hard would it be to stick a B&M style shifter onto my k5? i was looking at it the other day, and i am worried the 203 lever would be in the way, in terms of clearing the body of the shifter.

I had a Mega shifter on my '67 Camaro and liked the reverse lock out and the ratchet action shifter.

anyone run one of these stlyes of shifters?

Please post pics. I also like the B&M Starshifter. I'm trying to decide between the Starshifter and the Megashifter. I do like the Starshifter more, but the Megashifter comes in a (tall) truck version. They both look the same, but I had a Starshifter in a rot-rod and loved the way it operated.

I was about to post one of these up, I found a red cable sticking out of the floor of the 78 next to the 4x4 shifter, didn't know what that was all about until I dug into the parts box that came with the blazer and boom there it was a Z-gate B&M Shifter in pieces, I thought that this shifter belong to the 4x4 stick shift, so I looked it up to find it's name and thats how I got the Z-gate, which is pretty unusual for this blazer, I was going to ask the guys here on whats the best B&M shifter for our trucks, I'm also looking for the taller stick, so I don't have to keep bending my back just to get to it.
Sorry to have invaded your post Zakk, you have a great Thankgiving you here?

I have a B&M light truck Megashifter (the taller one) I absolutely love it. It is the same as a regular Megashifter but it has a taller base and cover. I had plenty of room next to my 203 shifter. I will post some pics. if I can dig up my camera.
