congratulations, you're going to love it. I love mine and someday I'll probably buy another one when I can afford it better.
I am getting tired of the fuel milage on mine so it is in the local paper right now.

I Just bought an 86 Jimmy with a turbocharged 6.2 litre diesel with only 134 000 K (ATS turbo installed at 15 000 K) It's a Grand Sierra and I refuse to drive it untill everything is in perfect running order... good thing all I have to do is adjust the Detent linkage, change the filters, get the air recharged and fix the power window motors! I love my truck and I can't wait to get it Dirty rotten filthy stinking stuck!!!
    ...
    ...
Guess I better buy a winch too huh... Man I'm gonna have fun!!!

I'm planning to get a blazer for round 1k. A diesel one. I alredy know exacty what I am going to do with it. Sell the hard top, axles and rear seat. Get a 4 inch suspension lift, mayb 2 inch body, dana 60 and corporate 14 bolt, trimm the fenders, put 38s on em, spray paint camo, air horn, and tint the windows as dark as i can. Can't wait to get started.May I should have bought that diesel for 1000 a month ago? Now that i think about it, i should of.

Good lookin truck. I've got 3 blazers myself and love all of em. (even the one i use for parts.) You got a good deal on it because down here in the south where I live you'll never see one that cheap if its not totally tore up. Have fun and enjoy Slodawg

I only WISH I could find one like that here in GA......people seem to drive them till they fall apart. I finally found one (a '79 for $1800), but I didn't like it after all. It sounded cool at first, 9" lift, 44" tires, new engine/gas tank/everything, said he was about to get a new paint job. However, what I didn't like is when he said he modified the body. Said something about he put a 1500 cab on and made a bed out of wood and all this crap. Said he was looking for an original body, but hasn't been able to find one in good condition. I just want a totally stock one, so I can do the mods myself. Oh well, maybe someday......

if the lift and the tires are in good cond. they are worth more then the asking price.

Chevy4x is right. Those are expensive items. If its in good shape its worth that. You can find a body just ask around on this web site I have seen a couple on the parts pages.
