I have a 1990 GMC Sierra 1/2 ton pickup. Its pretty nice with a 3" suspension lift and a 3" body lift. The only advice I have for you is don't crank the torsion bars, it sucks and I"m looking to get rid of the truck. Running a single-in dual-out flowmaster series 40 with dumpoffs and no cat. 33x12.5 tires, looks and sounds good

Forget power pulleys. That's not how you make horsepower. That just slows down your alternator and water pump. Sounds like bad news to me.

I have a 92 Chevy Blazer Silverado. Mostly stock for now, but plenty of mods are on the way. This thing is still like brand new too with only 72,500 miles on the clock. This Blazer is great!

I believe my recently aquired 92 K2500 (heavy duty/8 lug style) standard cab is a silverado. I shall have to check on that. I'm pretty sure it is.

3.42 gears from what I've been able to tell (haven't pulled the rear cover yet to check everything out/change out the lube), 4l80e from what I've been told by a couple people, not completely sure on that though. Have to do more research into that.

it's on 245/75/r16's. 8 lug as previously mentioned.

Oops, I forgot to mention it's got a 350, TBI, and happens to be stock height with no lift and will likely remain that way for a long while.

    2001 silverado Duramax Ali combo-
crew cab0 (that means 4 REAL doors)
    short bed
    3.73, with posi
the only thing missing is the leather/heated seats
rhino'd bed....had 305's on it, but back to the sliperstones ( I mean firestones).

13,500 miles on her and she was born on 10-30-01...she had 3 miles on her when she was born.

    I guess I like it.

also had a 99 silverado Z-71 prior to this one, same thing only missing was leather/heated. it had 87,589 miles on it when we traded her in for the D/A... born on February3,2000.... 20 months old- when she was retired...

gee we put a lot of miles on our rigs.

Brother in law has a 2001 8.1 Ali combo- he has all the options, leather included. he has extended cab- short bed, with the plow package. he's up somewhere near 50,000 miles, and got it in November of 2001.
We also have a 89 3/4 regular cab that is a work truck 350,000 miles on it, 2 transmissions later- (on its way to earning a third)....no mods on these trucks though, I spend the money on the K5, not these.

I have a 96 Z71 Excab. The only thing I have done to it so far is rebuild it from an engine fire. I Love my truck more then anything I have ever owned.

I do plan on adding bigger tires, small lift and lots of great memories :o)

If you didnt build it, it isnt really yours.........

I got a 00' silverado 5.3, 3.73s, ya best yet13.5MPG what is up!!! This thing rocks, its still not as cool as my blazer. 16.3 1/4 mi. in drive, not bad for a 5000lbd. truck. I don't know if you guys have alot of accesories (stereo, lights, dual batt) but I've put power pullies on just about everything and the guys with lots of stuff (electrical dodads) have them removed. Not enough of a gain for the pain. For the money on the new stuff a GOOD exhaust system (yes headers back) a good filter system, and yes.....forced induction!! Reprogrammers are good for the cash also.
