I've got a york w/a 2.5 gallon reserve. What size bottle did you end up going with for your power tank setup?

I used the 20 lb. bottle and got the other components together and ended up around $110 total.

Does anyone know where i can find directions on how to convert the a/c like slider was saying? And can you fill up tires with it or is it just for air tools? Thanks.

Boy do I feel like I am in the stone ages I still have the thingy that plugs into a spark plug. It works but I would have to run the piss out of the 350 to run a air tool hehehehe.

Its time to lock them in!

BIGD: I put the tank inbetween the frame rails right in front of the gas tank. It works great for air tools and airing up tires. The pressure usually stays around 80-90 psi when I use it, with the compressor running. The tank is rated for 150 psi. Here are a few pics.

Heh.. I like it for just the air tool capability
"Do you need help fixing that flat miss?"
"Let me just whip out my air tools..."

Also great if you are towing your race vehicle.

With the setup from the pics above, does your AC still work?

i have a cheap trick that i haven't done yet, but the welders at work are slow now, so....
i'll have some caps welded on the ends of my nerf bars, and add a schraeder valve somewhere safe. then i need to make an air hose that'll reach both tires on one side, with the proper fitting on the ends, and i'm set.
just air the nerf bars up before the wheeling trip, and air down the tires at will. the bars will hold enough air to refill two tires, twice.

My front bumber and nerf bars are under construction but when they are done, they will hold air.
