I thought it was a great movie. Now I'm not looking at the true or false issues, but at the movie itself. I enjoyed the movie.

enjoyed it but i'm crazy about fibonacci and I read the book. I liked the book better, but I liked the acting in it.

I'm nervous to see it since I read the book and I've done extensive research about the same subject matter long before Dan Brown jumped on it. I read Holy Blood, Holy Grail quite a while ago.

Well I haven't seen it yet but I probably will at some point. I'm not very religious so I plan on looking at it as just entertainment. Just like I did with that other religious classic, maybe some of you have heard this line..."(CLANG)...BRING OUT Y'ERE DEAD!...(CLANG)...BRING OUT Y'ERE DEAD!" or maybe this one..."I fart in your general direction." Thank you.

read the book in 2 days... kinda weary of the film. I generally like to see a movie version first and then read the book. Sort of backwards compared to most people... but it works best for me. I'll prolly end up watching it when it comes out on dvd.

Brown (close relative I'm sure!) can definitely write a compelling book. Its one of those books that makes you want to go out and read more history books so you can learn more about the subject matter at hand. I might have to check out Holy Blood, Holy Grail. I've been on a tear recently. I finished Tommy Franks book in about 3 days. I'm on to Angels and Demons now... and will knock out Soltzehytzen's (sp i know!) Gulag Archipeligo after that...

Shall we discuss the differences between a European swallow and an African swallow?

Then did he raise on high the Holy Hand Grenade of Antioch, saying,
"Bless this, O Lord, that with it thou mayst blow thine enemies to tiny bits,
in thy mercy." And the people did rejoice and did feast upon the lambs and toads
and tree-sloths and fruit-bats and orangutans and breakfast cereals ...
Now did the Lord say, "First thou pullest the Holy Pin. Then thou must count
to three. Three shall be the number of the counting and the number of the
counting shall be three. Four shalt thou not count, neither
shalt thou count two, excepting that thou then proceedeth to three.
Five is right out. Once the number three, being the number of the counting,
be reached, then lobbest thou the Holy Hand Grenade in the direction of thine
foe, who, being naughty in my sight, shall snuff it."

Listen. Strange women lying in ponds distributing swords is no basis for
a system of government! Supreme executive power derives from a mandate from
the masses, not from some farcical aquatic ceremony!
You can't expect to wield supreme executive power just 'cause some watery
tart threw a sword at you!
I mean, if I went around saying I was an emperor, just because some
moistened bint lobbed a scimitar at me, they'd put me away!
