Who sells this part & what\'s it called

I know, do a search. The only time I have on the computer is at work. My wife has been kicking my a$$ with projects around the house.

On a 73 blazer. It's the trim peice that goes around the window that is screwed to the top. It holds the weatherstrip that seals the window. /forums/images/graemlins/1zhelp.gif

Don't know the name of the part, but LMC will more than likely have it.

I searched through the web site at chevy duty which is almost the same as LMC & they didn't have it.

I know just what you are talking about but dont know the official name of it, I also looked through my LCM and chevy duty but never saw the actual part, just the weather stripping that goes on it. Looks like it might be
something that you have to get from the junk yard or someone that is parting out their truck.

PS Whats the status on that driveshaft?

The part you are looking for is called a winshield reveal moulding, it comes in black and chrome. LMC has them for about $10 in black and $15 in chrome.

That's strange. Why would they call it a windshield moulding when it goes around the drivers side window?

Oh well, I'll try to find my LMC catalog & take a look.

My mistake, since the window location wasn't specified I assumed you were looking for the piece of trim in the middle of the windshield weatherstrip.

Which window is it (door, vent, top or tailgate)?

Oops. I re-read it & realized it was too vague. I'm looking for the piece that goes around the side window & holds the trim.

Nobody sells them. You'll have to find a top to get the part off of. I need on too. I still can't find one. I'm thinking that I'll need to get a soft top and get rid of my hard top since I keep breaking it while wheeling. From what I understand, the STC Fastrac top is the way to go and we can order them through ORD /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

In 3 months the rain will have stopped & I won't need a top anymore /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif

I'll just take a hammer to mine & see if I can straighten it out. Or I'll cry to the wife until she buys me a soft top.

You can order the STC through Offcamber4x4 too /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif Both give members discounts but not sure if Stephen of Steve is giving the bigger of the two but I'm sure Steve would appreciate the buisness.
I put my hard top back on for the winter....Begining to regret it LOL I need to find a better place to store it then where it was.
