who thought i couldnt cut more off my truck?

    and now i need to get some 2x6 5/16ths to add in... but it is comming in time.

    already got no hood.
    im gonna tube the rig out from top to bottom, front to back about a year after i get it done. OR, just start with a 79ish one ton k10 and tube it all from the start... keeping the blazer of course... starting on the narrowed front end next week.

    hey, less weight for my one ton axles and 42+ inch tires(some day, thinking 46's)

    My thoughts exactly, though I'm not even considering anything bigger than 42s on 1 tons. Now Mogs...

    I've also thought I might do the same as Marv when I get all of my current projects coming together. I'm only just beginning to get an idea of what I *really* want, but I need much more seat time and a chance to try different things first. I'm also acquiring and honing the necessary skills and knowledge (and tools) as I thrash around on this “thing”. In a year or two, if this thing works out well, I’ll probable strip it to the frame and build a fully tube “body” from scratch. If I find the GM frame weight and design a hindrance (almost certainly a yes), I’ll build from scratch with the drivetrain ready to transplant…

    Anyway, looking good, be sure to post more pics as you get them.

    Ahhh you could cut more. /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif At one point you could open the door on my truck and walk foward till your knees hit the frame. LOL
