well this sucks, the water place shut off the water to my house. water was shut off at 9 am i payed the bill a 11 am and the place said the water would be turned on by 4 pm. well its 10 pm and still no water, this sucks. i never knew how much i needed water at the house untill they shut it off. it thing that pisses me off the most is how fast they shut it off and how long its taking to turn it back on. /forums/images/graemlins/angryfire.gif /forums/images/graemlins/angryfire.gif

Don't it just about blow chunks. We've had it happen to us a couple of times. One time up in Flagstaff we screwed up and didn't pay the gas bill. Would've been a cold night if one of the gas turner oner folks didn't live around the corner and was nice enough to stop by on his way home. Phew!

just go and turn it back on, take a pair of pliers and a flashlight out back and turn the thing 90 degrees and your set.

nope, we've lived in this house for around 7 years, and my dad was a garden freak, so we used probably twice as much water as most people do.
its getting low, but still has some... ours is deeper than most.

wells go dry when the under ground lake goes empty, then they have to drill down many feet to find a new one.
my dad got quoted around 15-20k to get one drilled /forums/images/graemlins/yikes.gif

Our well is at 75-80 feet in an underground river (they marked it at 64'), shouldn't go dry till long after I'm gone, literally /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif

It's still nasty even from 320', if anything I want them to drill to hell and back to find clean water.
