Just a note, the axles Wayne speaks about are top notch as far as a used axle go, and a hell of a lot cheaper than you will find else where. Wayne, if you make it down, you are more than welcome for the family to stay over in NC. I know there is another member from Raliegh who wanted a set just after I got mine. I think he is a youngin, but good guy. Also someone from Texas (see 4sale board) wanted a set. He might decided to drive up and meet somewhere instead of paying 5-6 00 in shipping. Saw update on rig, looks good, I might be *&(#*d on tires sticking out, just going to have to see what MP's will say.

If you ain't hurt, you ain't playin' hard enough.

I am looking myself. I would even consider one with the center section since I will need 4.88 gears and a locker anyways. Any chance?

I am in MI though.

Re: Who wants a Dana 60 on the East coast

I bought my axles from Roger and the internals are mint. My Dana 60 has never seen 4 wheel drive use. Front Dana 60's with track locks or true tracs; forgot which one, are $1100, open carrier is $1000 and 14 bolt with Detroits are $500. All axles come with 4.56's. When I was there Roger had a set of 35 spline outers that I was going to buy, but I decided to wait and see if I brake my current outers. I think he will build what ever you like too. Roger really knows his [censored] and is a really cool guy. Later.

Re: Who wants a Dana 60 on the East coast

WOW!!!!!! I figured by now everybody would know the price but I guess I am wrong as usual.
$1000 for an open Dana 60
$1100 for one with a Locker
$500 for a 14FF with a Detroit
All will be low milage and include the spring plates for the Dana 60. You will probably have to buy the spring plates for the 14FF since the axles are out of a 1 ton and have a different set up. They are available new from GM and I believe they are under $25 for a pair.

Joel I will take you up on your offer if this works out. Thanks bud.
As you can see the condition is described well from members that have purchased axles from Roger and I. I do not make a dime on these axles but Roger helps me out alot so it is a trade off.
Also thinking about selling some 400/208 combos or 400/205 or what ever you might need.
The more that I take with me the cheaper the delivery fee will be. I want to keep it under $100 per person which will help you guys out.
I am looking at doing this around Thanksgiving since I will have a few days off from work.

Re: Who wants a Dana 60 on the East coast

Just a quick update. Donna said it will not be a problem for me to take off for a couple of days to do this. Also if this works out I might consider making a trip out west in the spring with some. Might be a good time to visit Wes on that trip.
