I built mine but used the weld on tube adapters, a piece of 1.5 x .25 DOM and a couple of ends. The tube adapters are like 12 something each. I also just did all right handed ends so I only have to carry one spare.

Like Mike said, you definitely want to use weld on spuds for the ends of the rod. If you need it fabricated you may want to give Dave at Advanced Autoworks a call (602.765.3909). He does all(!) of my custom machining (lathe/mill work), he is very meticulous/anal about quality, and charges a very reasonable price for the quality of his work. If you decide to call, tell him Nick from ABC sent you. He is in North Phoenix, but, in my opinion, worth the drive.
    Good Luck,
    Nick

Sorry for the late reply but I'm out of town for work and working nights.

I think this is where I ordered them from. If you dare to go to Pirate4x4 and search a little you'll find a couple of suppliers. all of which are priced about the same.
