since I'm newer to the board, & have only met a few... what you have, where in AZ you live, & when we gonna wheel?

For those that don't know mine's a 78 Ford F250 supercab, shortened & sawzalled, 351(w/HEI!)/C6/ORD Doubler, D60F lockright, D70 rear ARB, somewhere around 4 or 5" of lift with 42" swampers, & I'll run almost anything.

    Me

My current Offroad truck is being parted out. Its an 86 Jimmy that I rolled six times. 350,700r4,NP208, 10 bolt front lockright 4.56 gears, 12 bolt rear mini spooled 4.56 gears, 4" lift 35s, and would run anything till I started parting it out. Its fully caged, and since I rolled it once I am not to afaid to do it again with a cage this time /forums/images/icons/smile.gif

Re: Who\'s all from AZ, & what you driving?

I'm north west phx and I owned my current 4x4 for 5 years now. My previous 4x4 was a 77 cj5 with a 401 and t18 tanny, that was was fun!! My cuurent truck is a 87 GMC Jimmy. Until Thankgiving 01 it was stock suspension, 32's tires, 3.73 gears, limited slip in the rear. I did install TPI on it but because of a nice lower engine knock....well it pretty much sounded like a diesel at idle, it's getting a vortec out of a 99 tahoe. I also install a 4 inch lift. TC's in front, shackle flip in the rear and long travel shocks.

Once I get it running I have a set of 3/4 ton axles and I have a set of 35x13.5x16 Baja Claws on A/E 589's ready to go on the new axles. Unfortunately this will not be for another month or 6.

Re: Who\'s all from AZ, & what you driving?

Well, you know what I run but others may not so, here it is. Mine is the K30 equivalent of Matt’s (NoRulz) F350, just not as far along with respect to mods. Most of the body is gone (only cab and hood remain), 42s with 4" lift. Locked in the back (soon to be locked in the front too) with 4.56 gears. I have a modified Springer rear suspension with tons of flex. 350 TBI so no worries about the engine choking on angles.

Near future plans include finishing my hydro assist so I can turn those 42s easier, moving the axle 2" forward, and getting a locker in that front axle.

Tucson here - I'm doing a frame off rebuild so it will be a while before it does any wheeling but I'm always looking for parts.

    Here me.

Joey "My 7 Year old son" and I live in Phoenix, actually Awautukee. Ray Road & I10.

BTW: Joey is my wheeling buddie, he has been on every run I have ever been on, and that's lots.

We are driving the "Robzilla". 1972 K5 Blazer that's Desert Camoed and rocking ready. It's likes the trails and is always screamming for relief.

My motto about wheeling, "LETS DO IT, IM GAME". If the body get's in the way, get the sawsall out.
