1120 on a 20 degree ramp. Not the best but respectfully flexy and it works well. Some softer springs up front and longer front shocks and 1200 would be no problem.

    Pic is my avatar.

I can't compete since my wheelbase is so long that my front axle would have to stand on end for me to score 1000...

How about breaking it down a little bit by classification????????

Sure would like to see other doofuses who ramped their rigs while it was still completely stock, with the sway bar still hooked up. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I scored a 1060 on a 20 degree ramp but I had much more to go the ramp was just too short for my 133" wheelbase. /forums/images/graemlins/angryfire.gif

Re: Who\'s got the best RTI score?

As long as the degree of ramp is mentioned a comparison can still be made using a little math...

A stock K5 should ramp just under 700 on a 20 degree ramp if I remember right. At least that's what I saw in an article in Peterson's a while back.

Re: Who\'s got the best RTI score?

RTI scores are highly overrated. Toby Lavender can drive over a 23* ramp in his POS buggy (TTC 2002) and the thing can't even climb simple obstacles at comps and finished 9th at TTC....

I agree, ramps are mostly a novelty. About the only true use for them is to check clearances when flexed up. It's easier to build a "ramp-champ" then to build something that works on the trail.

I got somthing like 890 with blocks and shocks that where to short. I have no idea what it would be now with the bolt on Flips longer shocks and no sway bar.

I agree on them not being the truest test of an offroad vehicle but its still fun just to see who has the best score.

    Soo.. Lets hear some more!

I'm sure you've seen the pics already Bubba Ray, but for the rest of you... This is what happens when you get bored and don't have your Blazer with you! /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

*note to self* next time bring Blazer and avoid having to go urban 4 wheeling in the beater. /forums/images/graemlins/thinking.gif

If ya saw the pics, I ramped 638 in mine, sway bar attached, 2wd and the 35's. If I hadn't broke traction, I could have gotten another inch or so up the ramp.

    Is that decent Rene?

Seriously I think the 35's prolly wouldn't have hurt or helped all by themselves.

Re: Who\'s got the best RTI score?

Exactly. I still could of gone another inch or so before I started rubbing, but the left rear shock was maxed (fawking GM engineering /forums/images/graemlins/angryfire.gif), so even if I had been on the 33's, I was done fer........
