Actually, Fumes, if you look at the # of posts and length of registered time combined, you are indeed #1 on the list. Here's the breakdown:

    chevyfumes - Feb. 24/2000 - 12,685 posts

    Grim-Reaper - Feb. 17/2000 - 7218 posts

    Laketex - Feb.17/2000 - 6043 posts

    Burt 4x4 - Feb.17/2000 - 5657 posts

    BurbinOR - Feb. 17/2000 - 5602 posts

    CanmoreK5 - Feb 17/2000 - 5135 posts

That's all the oldtimers from the first two pages of the user list for # of posts. Some of us have been here even longer than that. Before the last version of CK5 there was the original board. I myself started visiting the "original" CK5 in the fall of 1999...........

Hehe... ya, Im listed as Feb 17/ 2000 as well. I think Steve listed all the previous members as that date when we switched to the old 'new' style CK5 board.
I was 'Blazer of the month' in Oct '99!!!!

Same here.. but I sold my K5 that year and sort of stopped coming around. Until I joined this year I would only stop in at Ck5 to look around about once a month or so. I remember when you could easly look through all the "members rides" in one sitting.. :rotfl:

Yup, when I found this place there was only one board and Stevo still had 10bolts:blush: Grimm has got to be the oldest 'active' member. Him and Depdog(MIA) were always here and helped me out alot in the early days of CK5. I can't remember if it was 98 or 99 when I signed up? I guess I' addicted, oh well rehabs for quiter anyway...hehehhehe

Yep I was on the previous board. I think I am actually member 70 something on the last rendition before the recent up grade.

Yeah not sure whats up with Dep. I was thinking of swinging by and seeing Keith today (my day off). He works a 4wp about 4miles down the road. I had planned to ask if he had talked to Dep recently.

Well I'm 43 and don't think that's the elder statesman, but I've been here with the original group from '98. AZBLAZER turned me on to CK5 way back then............hard to believe it's almost 2005 and I'm still here! I don't even own a K5/Burb anymore, gone the way of the CTD (Cummins Turbo Diesel for you GMaholics) :D

Been quite the changes over the years with both the boards and the hobby.............from well built K5's to truggy styles. Natural evolution of the sport I guess.
