OK so whos watchin the race? Thoughts on the progress so far?

I'm pullin for Jimmy Johnson to win and for Tony to finish far enough back for Jimmy to win the championship. No offense to Tony and tony fans, I like the way he drives but Jimmy is my favorite.

IDK if it will happen but we'll see.

P.S. beer and NASCAR is awesome!!!

my parents met Carl Edwards in the summer of '04 when they were touring race shops in NC. said he was one of the nicest guys you could ever want to meet. i met Jeff Burton in the mid 90s, same story, super nice guy. that goes a long way in my book.

I was really surprised they didn't bring it in. The 48 is usually pretty conservative.

I've heard the same and feel the same.

Now as far as Ryan Newman goes, that dude is an a**hole. He ranks down there w/ kurt busch.

cRyan Newman is our local "hometown hero", since he lives in South Bend. i dont care for him at all. David Stremme is another local, who actually came up at the track that i frequent. his dad still races there, and his brother Bobby does occasionally as well. great bunch of people.

well it went my way 48 in the fence, 20 with the big check.
If everyone liked the same person it wouldn't be any fun. We sit and watch the race and everybody likes someone differant. I think thats what makes it the most fun.

Problem there is that Jimmy Johnson is a clone of that fag Jeff Gordon, don't see how anyone could like either one of those two piles of monkey poop.............. :D

I agree Bubba. I've never been much of a fan of Nascar, but when I saw Tony Stewert pull off the first Busch race this year, I knew that boy could drive.

I was wondering when you were gonna chime in. :p: as much as I hat e the guy I'll give Tony credit for his interview after the race. Don't get me wrong I still think he's the biggest a**hole in racing and it kills me to see him win but I couldn't believe how humble he was and how much he apologized for his actions.

Next year Bubba----it's gonna be Gordon's year. new crew chief, new team attitude, JEFF GORDON '06 CHAMP

I know that it won't happen. I'd like to se Kenny Shrader put the Wood brothers Ford In the Championship in 06.Probly be the last year the single car team has a chance. Its all multi-car teams now. kind of one size fits all. Guess thats why I like running in the woods people show up with chevys fords toyotas. They are all still differant. Not all just copies.

There's two words that come to mind when I read that last statement, "Ain't happen'in"

    :haha: :haha: :haha:

Divide Gordon's number by 3 and me thinks that will be the car number of next year's champion :D
