All I see is a couple of shocks, blocks, bolts and leafs. And all that has to cost more then $1000,-? Why? Aren't parts cheaper?

i know i will get yelled at for this, but 4WPW has a kit for 600, I would not recomend you buy from them unless you have an outlet you can go buy from. I'm lucky to have one close to my house, however when mailordering from them you will come into loads of problems, if you dont believe me, just type 4 Wheel Parts into the search query for posts.

    Superlift has it for $381.95
4 Wheel Parts has it for $343.95
I don't think comes with shocks though...I just looked threw an old 4 Wheel Parts catalog.
What companies are you looking for your lift? just curious..

Lift kits are pretty cheap... about $400... add shocks, steering items, and rear springs or shackle flip and it is more $800 range... add driveshaft mods if nec... could be another $600... Tires... rims... the sky's the limit! Then of course axles or re-gear... can you say Cha-CHING! Lifts are chaep compared to everything else really. I have found in the process of doing getting things together it is gonna cost a lot more then I thought... try twice what I thought LOL... Oh well, what else is new w/ projects LOL [IMG]

have you thought about a shackle flip kit from ORD. they are 175 and give exactly 4 inches of lift front and rear. it is supposed to ride better too. then you could just use 2 inch blocks or a 2 or 4 inch under that. just something to think about.

The shackle flip only gives lift in the rear, you would still have to get lift springs for the front.

I jst bought a 6" superlift kit from National Tire and wheel. The kit was 339.00 and came with front superide springs all the u-bolts front and rear, rear blocks and four shocks with boots. Shipping was fast and it all arrived in perfect shape.

Thought about the ORD flips, but I'm not sure about those.

BTW, do all kits come with steering correction, or something for the arm?

Steering corrections are options for the lift kits. You would have to pay extra for them unless they already sell them with the kits as a package deal.

right now I'm looking at the superlift kits at 4wheelparts.com. Which should I look at. And what types of shocks.
