Ok so I put my blazer up for sale, don't send me hate mail about it. Anyway, the first day I set it out some punks come by and egg it and shoot the front windshield all up. They did it with a bb gun or something and it has 6 holes in it. I guess I got lucky they were stupid and put 6 holes in one instead of 1 in each window! I wish I could find them and thank them for making my blazer harder to sell. Why do people think it is fun to destroy other peoples property? Well just thought I would vent a little!

Because its all a game to them. I know this is a fact because I work at a high school and all the kids do stupid things, even like what happened to your Blazer. Kids are at their worst during their teenage years!!! [IMG] They think they are invincible and bulletproof. They think they can get away with anything. They also know they cant be touched until they are 18. So, they do it to see if they can get caught.

I have had my vehicles vandalized several times. I went and bought a small video camera that I have aimed at the front driveway. I turn it on at night and while I'm away from the house and record who or what comes to the front of the house. I have it aimed right where my vehicles sit. I have cought my neighbors already egg the other neighbors car. It's a good investment. It wont stop somebody from doing anything, but you can bust them later and make them pay for any damages.

If I caught them, I would put the freekin fear of god in them.
Hog tie them and take them home to mom and dad where they could pay the repair bill. And wes is right, they think and usally do get away with everything[IMG].
Parents don't know how to raise kids these days. They let them walk all over everyone including them. Don't hate the kids, hate the parents.
Sorry to hear you are selling your truck.

<font color=purple> I've said it before and I'll say it again ........The problem today is the lack of " family unit " ......... When I was growing up my family was my life and I learned love, respect, understanding, hard work, reward, appreciation, self worth ..and the list goes on .......... I feel sorry for the future, If things don't change we're all in for a real $#!t hole !!!

As a 17 year old Marine Corps brat and a future Marine myself, I think their problem is that they never experienced the discipline they needed, and the reality check that is life. Reguardless of what they think they can get away with someone has to pay the price and suffer the consequences of what they do, namely their parents, and it is that person's job to relay that punnishment to instill respect on the child. Age should not be the issue, all wrong doing is to be punnished! That is the American way, and the eagle would be flyin much higher and prouder if everyone would stop being such idiotic a$$holes and act like they have some sense!

<font color=purple> Parents are too damn busy being their kids friends instead of being their parents !!!!! If they do that first, they'll automatically be their friends as well !

Blame it on feminists. Don't take me wrong I'm not a sexiest but hear me out. The feminist movement pushed for equallity in the work place. When this idea was taken into consideration a lot more women entered the work force, as a result the cost of living went up because in most cases there were two incomes in each house hold. The rise in the cost of living made it so that financially there is almost a nessecity for two incomes in each family. This alone makes it hard for parents to watch their childern. After that divorce rates climb. This creates single parent/single income families in which it is nearly impossible for a child to receive parental guidance throughout the day, and thus leaves the childern to run amuck. Add on other occuraces and each family's individual problems as well as each child's problems and you have one big cluster****. Welcome to what feminism really bred. (Don't get angry please ladies, I believe in equality in the work place, but for every action there is an equal and opposite reaction)

<font color=purple> I don't agree with the whole feminist idea ....... both my parents worked and both my wife and I work and they parented us as well if not better than other kids with the moms at home al the time like you're saying.......Our daughter gets tons of attention and will continue to in the future, parents MUST make the time when they can .......if it's only at night after they both get home from work then so be it !!!!!!! Eat supper together, talk about each others' day, keep in tune to what they're doing and remember ...your still the parent and you have every right to pry a little to find out what's really going on in your house !

I'm not saying that b/c parents aren't in the home at all hours of the day they can't be good parents but I am saything that having both parents work robs them of time they could be spending with their children and brings more stress into each family member's life.

It's definitely not feminism - It's the wussy "parenting" that goes on. I came from a single, working mother and turned out OK - I also had my granddad there to keep the fear of God in me if I stepped over the line, and he was a sissy compared to grandma - she was deadly with that flyswatter[IMG] Just give the kids quality time, love, direction and guidance.

16 and over are minors, but charged and tried as adults. Under 16 are juveniles and are charged as such.

I came from a single parent household too and I understand what it's like. However, it's damn hard for someone to raise children by themselves when they also have to take care of a job and everything else at the same time. In the 50s the male head of house hold, which at that time was most always the father/husband, went to work while the female, most always the mother/wife, stayed at home and raised the children. Maybe not everyone agrees with me but I think that's the way things should be. Granted good parenting can be acomplished when the only parent, or both parents, are working, having one parent at home would be benificial over not having a parent at home with the child for 8+ hours a day, during which the child teaches him/herself, learns from TV, or learns from the other kids that are in his/her same situation.
