why is it that I can\'t ever do SMALL projects?

OK I have my off-road k5 with the engine out, and I should be getting it in the next week or two. the machine work is done, but I'm waiting for the funding...

well this thing is torn apart so what do I do? me being the bone head that I am start tearing it a part to paint. [IMG] I mean the first time I did an engine rebuild was in my on-road k5 so what do I do? well I decide I need to do the engine and the tranny at the same time cuz the tranny's shot. [IMG]

anyway I got my paint scheme figured out. for the parts that are sanded down to metal I'm going to clean with alcohol and then spray with rustoleum. I will then do one coat of primer, and then use epoxy primer as a top coat.

cool. sounds like me. only thing is i am waiting on funding... for everything.
i tore my truck apart to do it ALL at once. parts are commin in slowly. but they are keeping my busy. and i get a garage soon too.
    april 6th or so.
then i can actualy remove the body and start working on it a lot more. and buy more tools. i have a BIG tool box in the kitchen now... kinda funny if you ask me

I tell ya... I have been waiting to take my truck to the next level and am getting so impatient I may just do it on credit if I fall short on funds. None of my projects are small either LOL

yea I don't know what it is... you've been a LOOOONG time without your k5, and I'd have went NUUUTS by now. [IMG]

anyway take my k5 project, and then compound that by the fact that I'm doing a frame up job to hotrod a 1950 chevy pickup, and I'm working on it at the SAME time as the k5! [IMG]

Is there such a thing as a small project? I keep telling Donna to look on the brite side, at least I'm not making a $600 a month truck payment.[IMG]

LOL - yea my mother asked my what I'm spending a month on these things. I told her that it really doesn't matter cuz as long as one is running then I don't have to pay any car payments... LOL
