I'm planning on a 1" body lift. While I'm at it, I'll also do new body mounts. What is the advantage of the poly mounts ??? I see alot of people use them. Pro's and con's please.

When I get twisted up, My front mounts squish and pull bad enough that the fan hits the shroud. I am hoping that the poly mounts will fix this.

    Pro's of Poly Mounts:

    Cheaper than factory rubber replacements
Less flex between frame and body
    No squeaks

    Con's of Poly:

Stiffer ride/feel more of the road vibrations transferred to passenger compartment

I have them. They were cheaper than rubber. In hind-sight, I wish I stayed with the rubber. If I ever get the money - I will get rubber ones again.

Mine is a semi-daily driver. The road and chassis noise is noticeably louder now.

    Good luck.
