Wierd buzz sound under hood

    ok when i start my truck, it starts(YEA) but then 10 to 15 seaconds later i hear this buzz sound and it last for like 15 seaconds. i know it from engine compartment in the front part of the engine, i think. i have know clue, but all i know is that im getting really anoid by this. its been doin it foir a week. /forums/images/graemlins/angryfire.gif

    It could be your A/C compressor going through it's cycle.

    Turn off your defrosters and the AC pump won't cycle. If you don't want it running unplug the clutch. If you've got a carb you might want to unplug the idle bump stop as well. Just make sure you plug the clutch back in once a month or so that way it won't corrode if you've got contaminated refrigerant. I unplug mine because I virtually never turn off my defrosters for 8 months a year.
