in another city. Not sure what this means but the "sycamorepd.com" is an actual PD website in Ill. the text of it read as follows:

    Mail server report.
Our firewall determined the e-mails containing worm copies are being sent from your computer.
Nowadays it happens from many computers, because this is a new virus type (Network Worms).

Using the new bug in the Windows, these viruses infect the computer unnoticeably.
After the penetrating into the computer the virus harvests all the e-mail addresses and sends the copies of itself to these e-mail
    addresses
Please install updates for worm elimination and your computer restoring.
    Best regards,
    Customers support service

No, I am definitely not downloading the attached zip file. But I am asking for advice on any downloadable virus programs.

I run the entire suite. It costs, but I have found that any of the FREE anti-virus suites are worth just what you paid for them.

    I hate McAfee and Norton.

The best anti-virus thing? Don't download anything from e-mails or open pics with a strange suffix. Even .swf files can have viruses. I have Norton, haven't had a problem...but I also don't go looking for any.

I like McAfee, but hate Norton. Trend Micro is pretty good. You do get what you pay for.............
