Today I went to Keystone (about 20 miles from Rapid City, here in SD.) and seen abunch of wild cats. I'm talking about Cougers, Linx, Jagwire (I know I misspelled that one) Leapards, and meny others. I really enjoyed seeing them. The people that run the place are so nice, they really love these big cats. So, if anyone comes to SD on vacation and go's to Mt. Rushmore, I highly recomened stoping in Keystone (ya go through it to get to Mt. Rushmore) and visit the Wildcat Valley Sanctuary. http://members.aol.com/wildcatv1/ I can't express how much I enjoyed it. And it's free. You can donate if you like, but the tour is free.

I always like to drive Needles highway and Iron Mountain road when I visit there. The hike to Harney Peak is cool too.

I haven't been up to Harney Peak. I'm alittle lazy to hike up it. Did you check out the link on the first post of this topic ???? The wild cats are really something to see.

Going to have to check that out next time I'm up there. Harney Peak is definately a long hike, the view is worth it though-hard to imagine people living up there. I was planning on being there this summer, but I don't know if the new axles will be ready by July. Should be close.
