Will 33\'s fit on a non lifted K5

I have a chance to buy some 33x12.5x15 BFG Muds ans I would put them on stock 15x8 rally wheels. My question is the body going to rub? I have stock suspension on my M1009 right now, Is this combo going to work. Thanks /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

Might rub since they're so wide.

255/85R16 (approx 33") cleared on my 1-ton with no lift. 33x9.50R15 might work for you.

They will fit, may rub only mildly. Mine only rubbed when I would pull into a driveway really fast with the wheels turned. Although it seems like everybody has different experiences with 33's, sometimes they fit sometimes they don't, depends on truck. I say try them, especially on only a 8 wide rim. My tires rubbed for a little while but then after the fender got pushed back about an inch then it was fine. Besides remember the sawzall is your friend!

Hi, Bill! My friend has a stock height '86 K5 with street tread 32's on custom wheels. When she makes hard lefts or rights, the tires rub a little. PM me when you get that money order! Later!

My 33X12.50-15 BFG All-Terrain KO's on 10" wheels will rub with a little flex if the wheels are turned a little. With the wheels straight I haven't had them rub yet. My fenders are trimmed at the back. No lift. I just tried to measure with the tire still on the truck and backspacing is about 4".

'87, same tire on 15x8, minor rubbing......That's all I'm saying..

Just one bit of advice, not trying to be my usual a**hole self, do a search, this topic has been discussed to the point of the horse was dead, buried, decomposed and reincarnated as one of Wes' goats. /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

I have a three leaf spring on the front and I took out the diesel and putting in a 400 small block and removed the hydro boost also and went to a brake vaccum booster I believe I will lose 200 pounds. Still and good input would be appreciated! /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif Thanks, Klink

You REMOVED Hydro Boost?! LMAO! /forums/images/graemlins/rotfl.gif Most of us are INSTALLING Hydro it seems! /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

Dont sell it, after big tires, bigger brakes on 3/4 or 1 ton, and a big cam youll be putting it back on. /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif
