    Exactly.

Oh another question. Can I get a 4 barrel carb intake(edlebrock performer) and use an adapter plate to which ever TBI unit? Or will that cause a big headache trying to get it running?

    1. Yes. 2. My 87 454 came from the factory with a TBI to spread bore adapter. 3. No, but I think you need to use the 350 injectors, though. /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

Do I have to change injectors if I am running a 388 small block? Ported heads, headers, probaby run a performer intake.

It probbly would run rich without an injector change. I was going to get a set of injectors out of a 366 truck engine. I figure they would probably give you about the right amount of feul for a 383.

It's my understanding that the only diffenec between the BBC & the SBC TBI systems is the injectors and the computer prom. Can any verify or correct this?

I would run 65 lb hr injectors on a 383.
turbocity .com makes the adapter plates you are looking for
The only diference to hook up a 454 TBI to 350 system in electrinics is the prom chip and the IAC wireing. You can get an adapter for the IAC from turbocity also. Other wise everything else will plug right in.
If you do any mods to increase the air flow you will need an adjustable fuel pressure regulator and probabally a custom chip.

The TB is different, 454 model has larger bores and injectors. Stock 454 uses a spreadbore intake with an adapter.
