will a 72\' gauge panel work in my 85\' blazer with gutted dash/ wiring

managed to save a 72 guage panel cluster (vintage look and all that) from a junked blazer. Will it work in my gutted dash. I'm trying to get away with not buying more guages and this one will look cool if it works. Will my speedo cable work? Anyone done an install like this? Thanks in advance

most importantly will my 208s speedo cable mount to the 72 gauge panel?

72 was last year of the 67-72 style trucks era, are you sure its a 72 ?
the cable and speedo on them is the threaded connector styl,e not the clipped style like what you have plus ammeter was used not voltmeter, there are other differences also.

    good luck

Sure it'll work...how much work do ya wanna do??? If you have the speedo in hand look at your cable and see if it'll hook up. The oil pressure (if mechanical) should work fine, fuel gauges should be the same. It probly won't be a "bolt in" but give it whack......it'll go if ya want to bad enuff.
