I can get a D60 out of a 80's dodge for $600. It is in great shape I just need to know if it bolts up to my 91 jimmy. Are there any pros/cons to running a dodge 60 over a chevy 60? Thanks for the help.

When I searched this issue recently I found the dodge front axle is narrower but works other than that. No personal experience though.

it's like a half inch. you can either bend the leaves in, or get a set of offset bushings. I'd do the bushings, personally.

The spring pads are half inch closer together, not a biggie. But the axle is 2 inches narrower than a chev axle. You can run a lit less back spacing or use wheel spacers and youll be OK.

Front 60? I run a dodge front 60 and the only thing I wish I had different was chevy outers on the hubs. I run Selectro
lockouts,, due to the hubs not having splines and only studs on the hubs. I also know that if you upgrade to 35 spline axles Selectro does not make lockouts.
