Will a dana 60 out of a dodge work for the front of my Chevy?
yes, Mudhog(Shannon) has one in his.
what is different about it and the "chevy" one? any different components needed... did dodge make there's with 4.10, 3.73, etc???
the soring pads are 1/2" off so the springs have to be played with to bolt up, or you can space the spring bushings.
The gears and lockers I believe are the same, but the shafts and outs stuff is different.
Not sure on the steering stuff. Shannon will know.
yes it will i have one in mine /forums/images/icons/smile.gif the spring pearches are slightly off but all you need to do is spreed the springs a little and it fits fine /forums/images/icons/smile.gif you will need chevy spring plates if you want to run the sway bar you will also need a chevy steering arm ($40 locally) and a chevy yoke for the drive line ($25 locally)
