    Will Doetsch 8403 work in the stock rear location with a 4\" lift or

    are they too long? If too long, what is the max length ??

    I say maybe.
    I have about 6.5" rear lift, but my shock mounts on axle are moved up some.
    So, with stock lowers, it seems like it would fit.
    Here's an idea - get 2 8403s for the front (with ford towers) but before you put them on, check them in the back.

    Thats what I planned on doing that when I install the springs. I never thought about checking them on the rear. Guess I could order them from Summit and if 2 dont work..send them back. /forums/images/graemlins/thinking.gif

    You can purchase F-250 shock towers pretty cheap, replace the existing shock towers on the front and run a long, pre-runner type shock for more travel and articulation.
