I'm getting a 14BFF out of a mid 70s crewcab 4x2 truck.
I'm putting it in a '86 3/4 ton 14SF.

will I need to move the spring perches?
Are the yokes different?

I'm a newbie, this is my first post and I did a search!

If it was from a crewcab then it must have been a 1 ton, so you will need to move the pads.

they did make a few 3/4 ton crews.
but the chances are almost 100 out of 100 that is was a 1 ton. so i would say this...See next post...

almost all older crew cabs are one tons. SOME here and there wer 3/4 tons.
but if it is a one ton, start removing the perches.
if it is a 3/4 ton bolts right in.
to be safe ethier way, GET A TAPE MEASURE OUT.
