I own an '82 Jimmy with a very tired 305, i have found a '69 Chevy station wagon with a 350 with 50,000 miles on it. My question is will it be a bolt in deal or will i have to fabricate a bunch of stuff? The emissions doesn't matter because the current motor has already been stripped by the PO. thanks /forums/images/graemlins/1zhelp.gif

It should be an easy swap. The only diff. is poss. the waterpump, alt or pulleys.Use the ones on the 305 and you shouldn't have any suprizes. If the 69 has points instead of electronic dist.,just use your 305 dist. /forums/images/graemlins/waytogo.gif
