Will my 14BFF bolt up to where my 14BSF is?

Discussion in '1973-1991 K5 Blazer | Truck | Suburban' started by **DONOTDELETE**, Aug 7, 2002.

Are the U-joints the same? Will it just bolt in? Thanks

The 14FF will bolt right in to replace the 14SF... I don't know if the U-joints are the same though. Drive shaft trimming may be needed - I think the pinion yoke sticks farther out on a 14 FF.

  2. I mean I know it will bolt right in place but I was just curious about u-joints. Thanks

I'm pretty sure they both use the same 1350 ujoint. My 14sf does.

The pinion on the FF is SHORTER than the pinion on the SF. U-joints are the same. I swapped out a SF for a FF in a '88 3/4 ton suburban.
