    Hi guys,

I am off for the summer and finally have time to work on putting that 1990 Corvette engine into my 1972 Blazer. I got to thinking, is my SM 465 going to bolt right up to this Corvette block? If not, what do I have to do to get this sweet TPI power plant hooked up to the rest of my drive train?

    Thanks for your help,

    Rod <font color="blue"> </font color>

As long as you have the proper flywheel for that generation of motor the rest should bolt right up. The bolt pattern for the bell is the same as all other small blocks.

You will need a flywheel that is compatible with the one piece rear main seal design the 90 Vette motor has though.

The only gotcha that I can think of is that the 'vette engine may not have a boss and hole for the ball that supports the clutch linkage. I can't remember when they stopped those. But if you're using a hydraulic clutch linkage, then that won't be a problem. /forums/images/icons/cool.gif
