just what it says, I am converting my slip yoke TH400/205 to fixed, I just don't have a 1350 yoke I only have the one that came on the other tcase I am disecting. Also I heard a rumor that the parts from a 203 can be used to make a 205 fixed yoke? Can anyone confirm this?
    Thanks for any help,
    Mike

According to a Spicer book that I have, the 1/2 ton NP203, rear output yoke, and the 1/2 ton NP205, rear output
yoke are the same part #. But I beleive it is a misprint/mistake.
    Anyone have provf ?

The rears of both have the same spline count, it should fit, although a different seal maybe needed.

I checked my Dynatrac catalog and they show the rear output yokes on the 203 and 205 to be EXACTLY the same. Same part number to be swappable between the two.

Wish I was back in town earlier, but to answer the question, yes they are both the same. Only the yoke can be used to convert a slip yoke to a fixed yoke. Converted a TH350/NP203 to 700R4/NP205 earlier this year. Had to get the output shaft from 4X Heaven, and the output bearing retainer (the output shaft cover) from Blumenthals here in OKC. Get a good set of split ring pliers and a set of end play washers to set the end play to 0.002 to 0.027" or you'll eat the output shaft bearings up and have a vibration problem that will kick your butt and drive you to the brink of going crazy (been there, done that...). I just put a Ph**d out put yoke to mate up to the larger CV joint on my new drive shaft (I now have a spare yoke which new cost me $25 about 2 months ago while chasing down said vibration problem).
