Hey all, A friend of mine GAVE me a 8000 warn winch /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif(older version, 12 years old)... We are thinking about building a bumper OR going the easy route and buying a warn bubmper.... I have seen some of the rigs with custom bumpers.... Can you hook me up with pics and opinions on which way to go... Considering $$$ and talent.... Im short on cash but I believe the talent is there.... Thanks,... Also, I have a 76K5.... /forums/images/graemlins/k5.gif

Either you can do a search on winch bumpers, or look at peoples webshots in the sigs to see pics. Just one idea.

When I got my 9000 I was playing with the warn bumper idea... Then I looked at one close up... Can you say CHEAP... I like a nice sturdy bumper not some flimsy sheet metal thats overpriced..

Not including welding rod my 8in C channel bumper cost me about 75 bucks to make.. Im not totally satisfied with this bumper, but the stuff I learned while making it was, is priceless.

sorry I dont have a pic..
