Damn Marv! That's too bad. And here I thought you lived in a pretty decent neighborhood. Nobody heard or saw anything?

I'm headed to the garage now to weld the bolts on my winch

if it is a warn winch that will void the warranty /forums/images/graemlins/angryfire.gif weld a piece of angle iron over the bolts like i did and it wont void the warranty

Interesting. How would they (warn) know if the bolts heads were welded to my bumper?

I think he is talking about if you welded the bolts to the winch itself. If you just welded the nuts onto the bolts then Warn would never have any idea once you removed the winch.

Hell Marv, That sucks.... That is why I want to make a reciever mount so I can lock it up in the garage unless I'm going 4 wheeling..... You may want to start calling around to the local pawnm shops and ask if they have any come in the door.... Also call some of the four wheel shops in the area about someone wanting to buy a switch for that winch...they may be wanting to use it them self.....

I'll keep my ears open and to the wind.....
