Great I just got my 10 HorsePower upgrade from ColoradoK5.com.

I searched for the post discussing decal installation and could not find it. I thought someone said to wet the windshield with windex then apply the sticker so you could slide it around. Let it dry then remove the backing paper.

Is this correct? Or am I thinking this all up, I know I read something on this somewhere.

Yup you can use soap water also. I did the same thing when I installed a 15 HP rainbow sticker on my buddy's honda[IMG] Just make sure you have your truck secure on jackstands and that you disconnect the battery. Goodluck with the install!!

what you do is wet the glass, position the decal where you want it,then squeege(sp)the windex out.start from the center and work your way out.this should lay it down nice and should also push out any air bubbles.then SLOWLY peel back the backing paper almost back over itself,as to not be lifting on the sticker itself.i hope that last part is able to be understood,i know what im trying to say,but cant quite get it out![IMG]that should be about it.good luck!

    Cool, Here it goes.

My 10 minute 10 Horse Power upgrade is going on tonight.

Wish my computer was not so ancient so I could use my scanner and get pictures up.

we put the decals on boats at work all the time
what u do is wash it w/ windex, let it dry, then if u want heat it w/ a hairdryer, put on the sticker then compress down and get all bubbles out. then pull off SLOWLY. it goes better if you pull from the top left hand dorner and pull diagonally down to the bottom right corner.
then once off, press w/ fingers ,then heat w/ hairdryer iagain if u want.

    Got it on.
Did the Windex/Squeege thing. Seemed to work ok.

If not I guess I will have to send Steve another order when it peels off. LOL
