Windshield R&R..need help

    Hey all,the 70 K5 I just got has a busted up front windshield..I have a mint windshield from my 72K5 but it looks hard to remove.Done em before on my 86 K5 but seal is different.Anyone done this before without the windshield tools.Guys in the little red trucks want $125.00 and no guarantee if they crack it..Any help much appreciated.

    I got one out of a wrecked truck by cutting the gasket off of the windshield and pulling the gasket pieces out in strips. Then I just popped the windshield out. Putting it in was a failure, because I broke it. Take it from me, use a new gasket because a used one will be too brittle for an older windshield (which is less flexible than a new windshield).

    Thank you Steve.I was going to attempt it myself but maybe I'll rethink my options a little
