The other day the window was a little dirty, so I turned on the washer thing. Well, every time I just turn the wipers on now, it starts squirting the windshield washing fluid out. Is there a way to turn it off, or is something wrong? Thanks.

I had the same thing on another car . The gear that runs those could be stripped . There is acog on the gear that disengages the gear so it doesn't work . I think you can get aprts to rebuild your pump . If not replace it . Until that time either take the washer pump off or pull the hose on the resovoir .

same thing happened to my 84 p/u I worked the switch back and forth quickly a dozen times and it stopped for awhile but eventually had to replace the whole switch.the contacts inside are worn.
