I have an 89 with everything on the turn signal lever. My wipers stopped working by the lever, I got a new lever and thats not the problem!!! Does anyone know what it is? Is it something in the column? Has anyone encountered this???? /forums/images/graemlins/k5.gif Its not the motor because the washer part of the lever still works!!

do you mean the wiper's have stopped working all together? or they work but only when you push to get fluid, they work? i took off the conector to the wiper motor to check the volts going to the motor.. well now my wipers wont shut off unless i twist the lever to the pulse mode, then i have to time this just right to get them to sit on hood... i think its just a BAD conection. guessing that's got to be your prob to.. check the motor conections, i doubt its in the column.
