wireing question on 75

    i just about finished a wireing switch in my 75 blazer i came up with a problem though the new harnes is out of a 74 blazer i parted out i have a wire that comes out with the starter wires and i dont know what it dose, i do know which wires go to the tank and the starter. can u help me

    You'll have to be a little more specific... What location and colors of wires?

    I can tell you that the wire going to the starter will be purple.
    The wire going to your gas tank will be brown.

    Probably the difference between points and HEi, if thats about the general length of the wire.
