I want to remove my factory wire harness, and run the minimum wires to have the 6.2 running. What needs power to get the 6.2 running?

I assume you replaced your gasser with a 6.2 ? Use the hot wire off the distributer to use on your injecter pump .

The cold start is on the right engine head . I would run the same wire to it . The other wire that comes off it goes to the injecter pump and high idle . This makes the diesel easier to start when cold
