Hey guys wish me luck I have to drive to FL from VA to pick up a friend and his truck. I'll be pulling an equipment trailer to get him. His truck has a bad tranny. It will be a marthon drive. I have to be back by noon Sat. to go to a wedding.

    I'll be back soon,
    John

You and me both man. I'm seriously considering flying out to florida and then buying and driving back a truck that I found. Long trip, mapquest says 24 hours by the speed limit.

I'm not sure I would buy a FL truck. I would look west to AZ. In FL if it's been to the beach or near the coast you get that salt air rust going. Cars in the snow belt rust from the bottom up from the salt on the roads. Cars from FL rust from the top down from the salt air. Depdog had a 77 from FL that he parted. MY GOD! the bed sides where they meet the cab were rusted clear through. Gaping holes down to the flare in the body.

I don't need no damn shop manual, I got a pornographic memory.
