Yes this can be seen as blasphmey. Anyone know the possibility of using a F@#D NP 205 instead of Chevys to utilize the D60s readily found on the millions of F250's and F350's running around? Right now I am just staring at this thing. Already have a boat anchor and pinion paper weight.

Phord would be a left drop 205 as opposed to a Chevy right drop. Steering linkage, location of oil filter if it bottomed out, finding an adaptor to fit up to a Chevy tranny, about the only factors that I can think of. Two of the three can be worked out, May want to check and see if there are any adaptors that will allow the phord 205 to bolt up to a Chevy.

I never really thought of the oil filter. I droped advance adapters an email today about a chevy 700r4 to a Turd NP205, havent heard yet. I have a remote oil filter kit that is on my shelf so I guess this conversion will let me use it sooner than I expected. Thanx for input guys.

Could you take the input shaft out of the Chevy case and put it in the Ford case?
