omg it's soo frickin cool! check out the new album in my webshots to see everything. it took us about 3hrs total. there were 4 of us. it was really fun too. it's shaved locked and has 4.10s in it, wich compared to my old 3.73s feel awesome! check it out!!

also my old 14bSF is going up for sale i'll post that soon.

You call that shaved? /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif Looks like you still got some extra "chin hair" there. /forums/images/graemlins/rotfl.gif I would call that well groomed and nicely trimmed. /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif I shaved mine all the way into the bottom bolt hole. I had to grind off part of the head of the bolt so it wouldn't drag. I didn't mean to shave it that far, it just kinda happened. But it doesn't matter to me though, with the 32's I have now, every 1/4" is helpful.

Seriously though, congrats on getting the swap done. It looks good. /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

You didn't shave an excessive amount off the lip, but got the most offending part of the lip off - I like it.

What did you use to do it? How long did it take to shave it?

no it's not smooth on the bottom but rocks scare me so i'm not worried.

i used my dad's new dewalt 4.5" grinder with a speedycut disc. cut it off in 3 pieces. dont really remember how long maybe 20-30min. cuz it was sittin on stands not under the truck at the time.

man this detroit is FUN!! and with the 4.10s i got some of my power back i'm lovin it right now!! it's fun going through turns on the gas! of course wet asphalt would be totally different.
