I just picked up a FREE '74 K5 Blazer and a '76 stepside 2x4. Both not good for anything but parts trucks...but still FREE. Heres the good stuff.....From the stepside, a 12 bolt rear and a TH350 tranny. Not sure of the ratio in the 12 bolt, but I'm hoping for 3.73's. Gonna pull cover tommorrow...*cross fingers* Also the hood and a few other small things worht keepin on the stepside. Now for the good stuff....From the '74 Blaxer, A running SB 350, flat top knuckle D44 with 3.73's, a NP203 t-case and another TH350 tranny...The 12 bolt rear has some teeth missin from both the pinion and the ring gear, but the carrier, backing plates and drums/brakes are good. All kinda of goodies and misc parts in the back of both trucks....Weeee.......I'm STOKED!!!!

Well, the 12 bolt from the stepside only had 3.07's. Made $150 on that truck. I gotta go get the Blazer tommorrow. I've worked a trade for a 14 bolt ff with 3.73's to go with the D44 in the parts blazer. The guy I've been talkin too has another 14 bff with 4.10's, but no D44 or D60 with 4.10's. Tradin stuff is pretty cool....It's basically like getting a 14bolt ff for free. /forums/images/icons/smile.gif Just have to decide if I want the one with 4.10's and wait till I fnd a D44 with 4'10's.....Or get the one with 3.73's, and have a set to bolt up in time for Blazer Fest......Hmmm....Decisions decisions......... /forums/images/icons/grin.gif

And when I pull my current front and rear axles...Gonna sell those too...WoooHooo!!! Basically a free 14 bolt and D44....Plus makin a couple hundred bucks on the deal. YESSSSSS!!!!!!!!! Finally getting rid of the 3.08's!!!!!!!!! /forums/images/icons/cool.gif /forums/images/icons/cool.gif /forums/images/icons/grin.gif /forums/images/icons/grin.gif

lol, Your talkin to a guy thats been ridin on 33's and 3.08's. I'll be plenty happy with the 3.73's. You think your rig with 35's and 3.73's was a dog......try runnin 33's and 3.08's....UGH. As far as 35's and larger with 3.73's....I'll be just fine when I get that far. 35's and 3.73's is no worse then what I have now.....Probaly better. /forums/images/icons/cool.gif
