    No pictures of me, I was on night crew, and our photo op was brief. :haha: Also, half of the pictures were in a bad zip file, so I'll see if I can get them re-sent.


    Here's a classmate on combustion turbine 2 ($40 million) re-attaching a purge-air line. Please note the manhole in the bottom left of the picture. I got nominated for the next outage (smallest guy) to feed inserts from all the way around the turbine back through that hole. :doah:

    These are cans, basically 14 1500# burners that run the turbine. We pulled all these to change the inserts just inside. The next outage we're going to do CT1, and we have to go even further inside, I'm told it's a great PITA. :haha:

    I couldn't find much by way of pictures on Google, but it's a GE 7FA turbine.

    Power is cool. But that last picture looks like a scene from South Park.

    Natural gas combined cycle generating plant. :D 520-540 megawatts.
