I hate fixing other people's "F" ups !!!!!!!!!!!
I only put in a 10 hour day, but with a heat index in the triple digits, that's EEEEEEEE****ingNUFFFFFFF!!!!!!!
I damn near passed out from the heat !!!!!! I did puke alittle, but felt better afterwards.
Sounds like You need to take in more water Paul, and stay away from drinks with sugar and caffeine.
i drank 1 gal water my self today.
I had 4 liters + two of whatever my jug holds, don't know what that equates to but I'm still drinking now and I'm still thirsty.
No sugar and caffeine drinks today, water only, and pleanty of it. 98 degrees not counting the heat index, + me not working just sitting in a A/C apt for the last couple months.
Good then. A Gatorade every now and then is OK for the electrolytes but I would only have one of those to every gallon of water. I drink My gallon jug of water everyday plus about 6 liter bottles of bottled water that I get at work.
It was about 96 up here yesterday. A little breeze...and I mean LITTLE. Driven a truck with 3200 gallons of water...but with Array Adjuvents suspened in it...other wish I woulda been nice and cool. lol
Of course straight truck the company I work for has AC
Flip side is if you go through too much water you need that shot of salt. Its all a balance.
Not only salt but Potassium is extremely important. Gatorade has plenty of both in one bottle to keep you set for a while though.
all this talk of hydration, i have to pee...
I wonder how the Mexicans do it out here in the middle of summer with the lawn care services, and field work, all day long in the direct sunlight, with 115-120* temps,,,,,,
granted the humidity isn't as bad most of the time, but when the monsoon season is here, it's really nasty, and humidity or not, when it's 110 on up, it's friggin hot, i don't care what anybody says.
yeah thats just what i said in his other post. they all wear like jeans and long sleeve shirts, gloves and hats, plus most of them work their butts off
