A few weeks ago, we entered the state wide computer reporting system. That means all of our reports are done on the 'Net. This is great since I can come home and type everything up cause I was so sick of writing, typing takes a lot less time.

Well, my agency is somewhat behind the times and we have one computer at work we can do the reports on and that office is locked at night time so doing reports at home is kind of mandatory until we get upgraded.

Now I'm off today, and I have to go write more reports..........

This wasn't off of a traffic stop. This was a stolen car report that turned into hopefully the wildest pursuit I ever have the pleasure of being in the middle of.

It's too good for fiction, but the details will stay quiet until the whole thing is over with.

As for the highlights, I spun out in my patrol car in a dirt parking lot. We closely followed a route that was "officially" timed by another cop for a case he is on and his time was 14 minutes, we did it in 4-5 minutes and we recovered a stolen car.

But like I said, that isn't the whole story, nor is it even a quarter of the story and the story I am here to tell you is gonna make great reading material when I write it. It's stranger than fiction, I can tell you that.
