Check out this behemoth that Airbus just built. http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/6833386/ It will hold 555 passengers and weighs 308 TONS empty! Just the paint weighs 770 pounds... :yikes: Simply amazing!

Holy cow:yikes: They are going to have to allow at least 45 minutes to load the passengers and talk about a long wait to unload, I'd definatley want a seat near the front of that monster!

I spent two years of my life, at the company I used to work for, building fixtures and tooling for that plane. The tooling we built was just for the tail section that was being built in Madrid and then shipped to France for final assembly. I've seen plenty of pic's from the inside of the place in Spain...and that in itself was mind blowing.

EXACTLY!!! I can pack for a two week trip in a single backpack, just so I don't have to worry about baggage claim! Gawd, it's great to be a male! Now, not that I don't understand why, but I wish women could grasp this concept and do the same.... Last time we went somewhere, three suitcases and a carry on, for a TWO DAY trip!! And they say men aren't patient enough.

I hear ya.... But I'm happy with the one I found. It means standing at the airport longer from time to time, but, well, if she wasn't worth it....

Bad choice of words. I don;t know an all inclusive word for slowing the birth rate. I didn't mean killing everyone.

You really think they'll be stupid enough to use airplanes next time?

    "World's biggest cargo plane"

"The An-225 first flew on 21 December 1988. Only ONE An-225 is currently in service. It is commercially available for carrying ultra heavy and/or oversize freight. It can carry up to 250 tons (551,155 lb.) of cargo."

I'd call the C5 the world's biggest cargo jet. At least there's more than one of them.
